Last Day in Wyoming

Our two REI tents, sleeping pads and sleeping bags have served us well over the past week, but in no way compare to the good night's sleep that comes from a real bed set up.  A big thanks to the Glaspey family for hosting us at their ranch in Wyoming and treating us to a world class fireworks show and local Hawaiian and BBQ pizza.  It is beautiful out here and the company and fellowship has been such a treat.

I (Hannah) am posting this update while the rest of our crew is watching the world cup finals at a local sports bar.  After the game is over we head down to Flaming Gorge and then on to Zion.

Since our internet access has not been great the past few days and there is no telling if we'll have cell or internet access at the next few stops, I thought I'd take this time to post some pictures to recap where we've been so far.

Blessings to you all!

  1. amazing! The photos energize my desire to go see the Big Sky Country and Yellowstone. I haven't been there since I was 4 or 5 years old. I am so glad you got to have a nice rest with the Glaspeys. I miss you all and them too. We got back from Grammie's today in time for church. A wonderful encouraging sermon from H Spees. I hope you will be able to listen to it on the internet. So was the water chilly-billy when you were kayaking? Are you going to get to look at Cedar Breaks on your way to Zion? Remember Zion has natural pools where you can swim after a short hike. Hugs to all!
